About Us
The Turicum Golf Club didn't start with a golf course, a clubhouse, or even a plan — it started with a golf clothing brand.
A few years back, Timothy launched a small golf clothing label to prove that most of the prejudices around golf no longer hold up. Fresher clothes, fewer prejudices, more fun. Unfortunately, the brand itself did not last, as running a one-man company as a side hobby and having a life turned out to be hard to reconcile. Still, something good came out of it: a Ryder Cup-style tournament originally called the EIAB Trophy and since rebranded to the TIGR Trophy.
Eventually Timothy figured his little band of golf-obsessed mates deserved an official name to rally behind — so the Turicum Golf Club was born. TGC isn't your typical golf club: we don't have a course of our own and we don't do stiff dress codes. Our club is all about having fun playing golf, proving that it's not just an old man's sport, but can be challenging, modern, and the perfect place to find good company.
Frankly, our handicaps are nothing to brag about and we do not expect any of our members to achieve PGA Tour status down the line (sorry guys!). However, what we lack there, we make up for in fun — and if you enjoy a bit of banter and don't mind the occasional shank, you're in the right place.
